For Sandy Hook

Done for the victims and their poor families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting in Newtown, Conneticut.

My grandmother had the Today show on as usual while she was cooking this morning. I happened to walk in when they went to the televised moment of silence that marked the 1 week anniversary of the shooting.

They not only showed the people in Newtown as the bells tolled, but several other churches from around the country ringing their bells.
There was even a glimpse of brokers at the New York Stock Exchange ignoring their work to take pause.

My heart ached as I listened to the bells ring, watching those people in Newtown standing quietly, struggling to be strong.
The tears finally came when they showed the pictures of the 20 young children and the 6 teachers who died.
