Kaminari Setsuna

A member of the Iron Maiden Sisterhood and Kenshiko's mother. After it became obvious that young Sydney possessed very special powers (her empathic abilities), Kaminari was the one who suggested that she train on Scythia island when the families' traditional forms of training were proving inefficient.

Along with Bengali and several other members of her Sisterhood, Kaminari was one of Shizuka Setsuna's nearest and dearest friends. Her constant visits to the Setsuna household eventually led to her becoming the object of affection for the oldest of Shizuka's brothers, Hideo. Eventually her and Hideo's teen romance led to them becoming engaged and then married when they reached adulthood. Six months after the birth of their first and only son Kenshiko, their niece Sydney Darkholm was born.

Like her mother in law, Torako, Kaminari is a split tailed cat-dragon. She has a younger semi- identical twin sister named Noriko.
